Game Idea: Explore the nature
Game Description: Exploring/discovering/adventure
My game idea is exploring the nature, meanwhile helping the hunter to survive in the wild forest. He will be accompanied by a dog, and their mission is to survive outdoor together. The magic-flying map will guide the journey and give some advice. They will try to find some food, but will meet a lot of obstacles on the way. e.g. poisoned berries, cactuses or grass.
To make a game more interactive and interesting for the players, I am thinking to add some bonus, or points collection baskets. Let's say eating poisoned food will shorten the hunter life, and to get to the finish line he will need to collect all the unique rocks to become invulnerable and accomplished his mission.
Before I will start to create this game, I should do the prototype, to see how I can manage it in Unity 3d.Then I can announce -that's it....voilà!
What about MDA,I am thinking to use these tools:
Game Mechanic is:
- walking
- running
- looking around
- flying
Game Dynamic is:
Behavior that will arise from game play, when the hunter start running, walking and looking around.
Game Aesthetic is:
The hunter emotional response. Will he be scared of the wild animals? Or what will he be able to discover in the forest? Will he be able to survive alone?

Hey Lusine, I found your game idea with the hunter interesting. My game is also based in nature. I liked the idea of collecting certain rocks and minerals that give him special effects. And as always you’re already ahead with your first prototype idea! xD It was nice to see what you were doing. Wish you luck with the project!
ReplyDeleteThanks Julia for your feedback, Good luck this semester!
ReplyDeleteHi Lusin this game looks really interesting to play , I like the way that it is an outdoor game which looks like a jungle, this will have cool sounds in the video. I like the drawing of the game I'll have to add one of them to mine
