This week's task is to design a user testing experience. And I chose H5P website to create Q&A. Answering the questions you are checking yourself, your understanding of the topic that you chose and implemented for the game design and development textbook,2021.

This is a great opportunity to re-read all the topics and check it one more time before it is sent to print.

Also, I had a nice online conversation with my lecturer Shaun Ferns, discussing our module Multimedia Development 2,positive and negative sides.

This semester was really challenging and quite interesting for me. As we learned variety: unity 2d,plus academic writing for our group Game Design Development Textbook,2021.Why it is challenging...

I’d should do 10 annotated bibliography and review it and write about my thoughts about the topic, it's really time taking and to be honest doing that, I can’t concentrate on my other projects.

That’s why it was challenging for me. But I did it. I learned a lot of interesting things about game character design, also I read my peers works and give them feedback, critical feedback. I also got a critical feedback too, which was really handy and helped me to correct some of my mistakes, thanks Anna for your feedback.

What  will change if I start the project again? I won’t change anything, I am happy with what I did, and I really enjoy this method of learning and communication.

This week I did the final shtrikh for the game design  development textbook: adding Bibliography, Author BIO and Graphic image describing the topic .I found this method of working together in one document really helpful, as asking feedback or writing comments, it’s really useful tool, you are improving your writing skills, getting more confidence expressing your thoughts and opinions. I wondering how the textbook will look at the end, but  sure it will be amazing . We worked as hard as we could with our team, and we did a great job and so lucky to be in this module with all these nice and talented young people.

Also, I used Adobe Illustration tools to design a game character to express what a game character first of all means for me. I designed a detective character, as for me all the games have  mysteries, and to solve it you should have some skills of explorer or spy. I named the character - "Dete- Big-Eye!"

This week’s task is reviewing two peer’s works, evaluating and giving feedback. To be honest ,it's hard to evaluate other’s work, so far I did two peers works only. I like both topics, it’s very interesting ,well written and coherent, no need to make changes. My topic has been evaluated as well, and glad to get feedback and correct mistakes in my document. As it's a formal document, it's really helpful to get feedback and correct them.


Also, I created test user experience using h5p website, and found it

interesting .

Audio Sounds

 

 

For this tutorial I should add audio/sound effects to my game character,

when Ruby fixes a robot or collects health packs. integrating sounds.


I can’t say I did excellent work, even I can’t say my game is ready to go,

no, I did a few mistakes and should go back and correct the mistake

that I left behind.

I should do it as I want to see the result at the end and be proud of myself.

However, I found game developing design is one of the most interactive

courses after web development.

Introduction and Conclusion



This week's task is writing an Introduction, and Conclusion for our chosen topic. I found it interesting as you learned a lot of interesting things about game design development. When we started this project, I thought it's going to take all my day to do it, but when our lecturer chose a fantastic method of doing and organizing our work, it was a relief for me, and it's a great idea to look through your peers' works, read, evaluate and learn. All the articles and research helped me to write my topic introduction, paragraph and conclusion parts. It's so useful when we do Annotated Bibliography and step by step moving close to finish  our game design development book.

For this tutorial I learned how to use UI  in my game, it's a little bit challenging ,but interesting. If we can see how to do it, it will be easier than the '' read and do" version. However, I am trying ,and I like it. Of course, sometimes, having problems with coding - scripts, but I'm learning, and to make mistakes it's understandable.

The most exciting part for this tutorial is another character input in the Scene, who can be useful to the main character helping her to fix the robot. For doing it, our main character has to talk. In this case to make Ruby talk we should add a code and make sure that the character stands in front the frog character. Raycasting has been built for this situations to fix the action of casting a ray  in the scene. In coding page I add dialogue box and timer display functions controlling the situations in the scene.
